Monday is the closing date for the Rutter's Farm Store at 1310 N. George St. in North York.

A sign on the door announces the closing date, thanks people for their patronage and asks them to visit nearby locations: 2125 Susquehanna Trail, 2251 North George Street and 1520 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Scott Hartman, Rutter's president, said the company is closing because of an inability to negotiate a new lease with the building's landlord. The store has been in business for 30 years.
