CENTRAL YORK- Britney Poff, a Central York grad, started every game for the Wilson College soccer team.

The junior midfielder finished with two assists - the first in a 3-2 loss to SUNY-Cobleskill and the second in an 8-1 loss to Wells. She took 14 shots on the season with nine on goal but failed to connect.

The Phoenix scored just 14 goals all season long and finished 3-15 overall and 1-10 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

"Brittney was a first-year player for us and she immediately impacted our midfield play with her fitness and work ethic," third-year Coach Beth Weixel said. "I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do in her senior season for Wilson."

The Phoenix will lose seven seniors off this year's squad.
