NORTHEASTERN- Freshman Elijah Cooper (Northeastern) is seeing action for the Lock Haven men's basketball team off the bench.

In six games, he's seeing 15.3 minutes per game of playing time and is averaging 5.5 points.

He has shot 5-for-10 from 3-point range, and has eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

He had a college career-high 12 points in 15 minutes in a 95-53 victory over PSU-Wilkes-Barre.

Cooper scored 1,203 points during his career at Northeastern.

"Eli has done a great job so far," Coach Mike Nestor said. "His skill level and his ability to play both guard positions have really improved our depth this season. I expect him to continue to improve and become a huge asset to our program."

The Bald Eagles are 3-3 overall and 1-2 in PSAC play.
