NORTHEASTERN- In Hartsville, S.C., Coker College's Autumn Lau, a Northeastern High School graduate, was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Dec. 18.

This is the third player of the week award for the Coker women's basketball team this season.

Amber Lau - Autumn's sister and also a Northeastern grad - was a recipient of the award earlier this season.

Making her Coker debut last weekend, Autumn Lau led the Cobras to a weekend sweep over Mount Olive and St. Andrews.

Against Mount Olive on Saturday, she had a game-high 24 points, six rebounds and one block.

On Sunday, versus St. Andrews, Autumn Lau posted a game-high 29 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Autumn Lau hails from Mount Wolf and is a communications major at Coker. She is the daughter of Brian and Shelby Lau.

Coker is 6-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play. The Cobras resume play Dec. 30 at the Stair South Classic at Georgia College State University.
