Students from six York County high schools, most involved in either their school s SADD chapter or a similar organization, took part in the contest by creating a public service announcement. There were three categories: a 30-second radio spot, a 30-second video and a 5-minute video. Each school was allowed to submit up to two entries in each category.
Northeastern High took first place in all three categories, while Dallastown captured second place in each.
Central York took third place in the 30-second radio spot. William Penn won third place with its 30-second video and Red Lion s entry #1 received third place in the 5-minute video.
All of the videos and radio spots can be viewed in the player located on this page.
Preparation for this year's campaign kicks off with an event at the Yorktowne Hotel on November 17th.
