Team members and community participants were challenged to grow a mustache, goatee, soul patch, chin strap, beard or other style from scratch and collect pledges from sponsors, family and friends. Shavers promised to cut their hair on Friday, Sept. 4, when the Revs host the Bridgeport Bluefish.
On Friday community participants will have the option to shave at home before the gates open or take advantage of being shaved during the game.

Infielder Keoni DeRenne, large image in photo composite, has plans for the facial hair after he shaves but won't yet say what he's going to do with it.
