South Western played a pair of girls' soccer games at the Cedar Cliff Tournament on Saturday but failed to earn a victory.

The Mustangs played the hosts to a 1-1 draw in a game that featured two scoreless overtime periods.

Katie Jaxheimer's goal a little more than 12 minutes in staked the Colts to a 1-0 lead.

But South Western's Julie O'Connor netted a feed from Kayla Latham with a little less than three minutes remaining to send the game to overtime.

Neither team scored in the extra two periods. The Mustangs got great goaltending from Haley Briggs who stopped 11 shots.

Things didn't go so well against Red Land, though, as the Patriots rolled to a 6-0 win over South Western.

Marie D'Angelo's goal 12 minutes into the contest started the Red Land onslaught.
