Here are some events going on today in honor of the Labor Day weekend:

Monday


FIFTH ANNUAL LABOR DAY FESTIVAL, Kiwanis Lake, Parkway Boulevard and North Newberry Street, York, 6:30 a.m. Begins with flea market and yard sale. Food and live entertainment throughout the day, including a Native American Pow-Wow, a performance by Cheap Sneakers and more. Fishing Derby at Kiwanis Lake for children ages 1-15. Registration is 7 to 7:30 a.m. Fishing is 8 to 11 a.m.
YORK LABOR DAY PARADE, sponsored by York-Adams County Central Labor Council, York City Schools Small Athletic Field, continues to Kiwanis Lake, 323 N. George St., York, 10 a.m.
JACOBUS STREET FAIR, Goodwill Fire Company's annual street fair in Jacobus is not only one of its biggest fundraisers of the year but also a Labor Day tradition. The event takes place, rain or shine, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors will find flea-market items, crafts, antiques, entertainment and food.
