Tyler Bryant Fisher, 18, of the 5200 block of Davidsburg Road was charged with attempted homicide after the victim told police Fisher had attacked her at a bonfire party - leaving her with chipped teeth, a bruised tongue and a bloody scalp from being dragged by her hair, documents state.
The detective involved in the case said it was the most petechiae - red spots on her eyes that indicate asphyxiation - he had ever seen on a living victim, according to charging documents. The victim's voice was still raspy when police interviewed her Monday.
The victim went with two friends to a party in the 4200 block of Schoolhouse Road Sunday night where both adults and teens were present, police said. People began leaving the party about midnight, documents state, and she was waiting for a ride home.
Several of the victim's friends were waiting on the other side of a barn for a ride, police said, while she sat near the bonfire with Fisher.
Fisher began talking to the victim about how he had a crush on her, police said, but she told Fisher he barely knew her, and she got up to walk away.
Fisher came up behind her and grabbed her by the neck, police said, squeezing her throat until she fell to the ground. The victim next remembers Fisher being on top of her in a field and pushing her
She tried to yell for help as Fisher covered her nose and mouth, police said. She then tried to bite his hand, documents state.
People came back to the field to look for her, police said, and Fisher rolled off her, trying to tell people they were going to have sex.
Fisher then left the party with another friend, police said, and the victim was taken to York Hospital for treatment.
Detectives said the victim had red marks and blood on her face, neck and scalp. She also had petechiae on and around her eyes, two chipped teeth and bruises on her tongue from biting.
The victim was tested to determine if sexual assault occurred, and the Daily Record does not identify possible victims of sexual assault.
Fisher was arraigned Tuesday at York County Central Booking and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and simple assault. He was in York County Prison Wednesday in lieu of $75,000 bail.
