APRIL 13

3:30 p.m. A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 200 block of North Franklin Street. A vehicle left the road and struck property owned by the borough.

6:56 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 600 block of Broadway.

8:17 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance charges are pending against a Hanover area juvenile as a result of an incident in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.

9:46 p.m. A juvenile was reported as a runaway from the first block of Pine Street. The juvenile returned home.

APRIL 14

1:34 a.m. Christina Bowlin, 49, of Hanover, was cited for public drunkenness in the 200 block of Carlisle Street.

2:05 a.m. A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street. A Mercury type vehicle struck a parked 1996 Chevrolet owned by Monica Crushong of New Oxford and left the scene.

7:50 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 300 block of Moul Avenue where eggs were thrown at a vehicle.

8:52 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of High Street where a vehicle's tire and a headlight were damaged.

11:57 a.m. Rebecca Vaughn, 40, of Hanover was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order in the 600 block of Broadway.

1:32 p.m. A domestic incident between a male and a female over child custody was reported in the 100 block of East Chestnut Street.

4:47 p.m. A disorderly juvenile was reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

6:01 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 300 block of York Street.

8:59 p.m. Allison Embro, 23, of Darlington, Md., and Richard Horton, 38, of White Hall, Md., were cited for disorderly conduct following an incident in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street.

9:13 p.m. Theft was reported at a business in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street.

10:51 p.m. A domestic incident between a mother and daughter was reported in the first block of Pine Street.

11:07 p.m. A disturbance involving loud people was reported in the 300 block of Meade Avenue.

11:09 p.m. A one-vehicle accident at Eichelberger Street and Eisenhower Drive resulted in towing. A 1993 Honda operated by Victoria Stump of Hanover had a mechanical failure which resulted in a broken axle.

11:14 p.m. A disturbance involving a running generator was reported in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

APRIL 15

12:45 a.m. Joy Purkey, 36, of Hanover, was arrested for public drunkenness in the 200 block of Eagle Avenue.

1:40 a.m. Harassment charges will be filed against a 24-year-old Hanover woman as a result of a domestic incident in the 600 block of Broadway. A 29-year-old Hanover man was charged with public drunkenness during the incident.

2:06 a.m. A domestic incident between two siblings was reported in the 100 block of Broadway.

4:49 a.m. Suspicious noises were reported at a residence in the first block of Eichelberger Street.

11:37 a.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 100 block of Carlisle Street.

3:16 p.m. Misty Stotler, 23, of Hanover, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the first block of York Street.

4:24 p.m. Theft of prescription medications was reported in the first block of East Walnut Street.

4:52 p.m. Vandalism to a window was reported at a residence in the first block of West Walnut Street.

6:21 p.m. A disturbance involving loud music was reported in the 200 block of Third Street.

8:17 p.m. Harassment was reported at Gail and Carlisle streets.

9:36 p.m. A juvenile was reported as a runaway from the first block of Pine Street.

APRIL 16

1:56 a.m. Eric Patrula, 22, of Hanover, was arrested for driving under the influence, fleeing from the police and summary traffic offenses following an incident that began in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive. He was taken to Central Booking for a later arraignment.

APRIL 13

1:06 a.m. A domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Blooming Grove Road.

12:30 p.m. A domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported on Center Street .

7:15 p.m. A neighbor dispute was reported in the 500 block of Baltimore Street.

8:03 p.m. A 30-year-old female was arrested for simple assault after she allegedly assaulted a family member in the 500 block of Baltimore Street.

10:32 p.m. A domestic dispute involving a couple in a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Frederick Street.

APRIL 15

1:24 a.m. A domestic dispute between parents and their adult son was reported in the 100 block of Northview Drive.

7:53 a.m. A burglary was reported at a business in the 200 block of Center Street.

1:03 p.m. A domestic dispute between a husband and wife was reported on Overlook Drive.

4:51 p.m. A disturbance involving a female yelling was reported in the 500 block of McAllister Street.

9:18 p.m. A suspicious vehicle reported in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Baltimore Street checked out OK.

APRIL 13

4:56 p.m. Patrol received a complaint of an open illegal burn in the 400 block of Ridge Ave. The residents were notified of the report and informed of the borough ordinance concerning burning.

7:30 p.m. Received a report of several juveniles writing on playground equipment in the South Street rec park with markers. The children were located and parents were contacted. They removed the markings.

8 p.m. Fireworks were being set off in the first block of North Street.

APRIL 14

2:15 a.m. A report of trespassing was reported at the Delone Catholic High School.

3:36 a.m. A noise disturbance was reported in the 200 Block of N. 5th Street.

4:38 a.m. A 2007 Chrysler sedan struck a parked car in the 100 block of Main Street. The operator, Giuseppe Purpura of Gettysburg was transported to the Hanover Hospital for treatment.

APRIL 15

5:05 p.m. A domestic dispute between a husband, wife and adult son was reported in the 200 block of North Fifth Street.

1:20 a.m. Assisted Littlestown Police with a hit-and-run search.

4:19 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on Los Alamitos Circle.

5:44 p.m. A juvenile disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Elm Avenue.

7:50 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 400 block of Maple Avenue.

1:10 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 3700 block of Centennial Road.

7:01 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 3700 block of Centennial Road.

5:05 p.m. Assisted McSherrystown Police with a domestic dispute in the 200 block of North Fifth Street.

6:30 p.m. An open burn complaint was received in the 600 block of Oxford Avenue.

6:58 p.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 100 block of Linden Avenue.

STATE POLICE/GETTYSBURG

APRIL 11

9 a.m. The theft of 100 pounds of ¾ inch copper wire was reported in the 700 block of Barlow Two Taverns Road, Mount Joy Township. The wire was stolen between April 4 and April 11 from an unsecured barn.

APRIL 12

7 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported overnight at Gettysburg Rental Center, 720 York Road, Gettysburg, where several posts were struck in the front parking lot. The striking vehicle was described as a blue Nissan Maxima with damage to the passenger side corner of the front bumper and the fog light assembly.

7 a.m. Theft of property delivered by mistake was reported in the 1400 block of Old Harrisburg Road, Straban Township. Police said a Fed Ex driver mistakenly delivered two cellular phones to the address on March 30, signed for by a black male. When it was discovered the phones were delivered to the incorrect address, replacement phones were then delivered to the same address on April 12 with the same black male signing for them.

APRIL 13

6:15 a.m. No injuries were reported following a six-vehicle accident at Routes 15 and 116, Straban Township. Police said a 2002 Mack driven by Travis Wagerman, 40, of Waynesboro was southbound on Route 15 when he notices something sparking on the roadway behind him. When he stopped, he observed large metal pieces had broken away from his vehicle. Five vehicles traveling south attempted to stop and struck the pieces, causing minor damage to the five vehicles. Wagerman's vehicle was towed.

7 a.m. Amanda Rummel, 21, of New Oxford, was listed as missing from 1095 The Spangler Road, Hamilton Township.

APRIL 14

7 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 1800 block of Buchanan Road, Franklin Township, where a detached garage was broken into and tools and power tools were stolen.

APRIL 15

1:15 a.m. A 24-year-old Hanover man faces driving under the influence charges following a vehicle stop on Centennial Road, Mount Pleasant Township.

5:50 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at 685 Latimore Road, Latimore Township, where an unknown vehicle struck a utility pole.

5:25 p.m. Jeremiah Funt, 22, of Fairfield was cited for harassment after he followed an 18-year-old female to her place of employment in the 4900 block of Fairfield Road, Hamiltonban Township, and yelled at her.

APRIL 16

2:55 a.m. A 41-year-old New Oxford man faces driving under the influence charges following a vehicle stop on Low Dutch Road, Mount Pleasant Township.
