Susan Sanders-Watts was also ordered Thursday to pay $17,000 in fines related to the drinking party she hosted in June 2010. Three of four teens in a car that left the party later died after failing to negotiate a curve and crashing down a steep embankment in Crabtree, Westmoreland County.
Michael Simpson and Jordan Cobb, both 19, and 18-year-old Carly Kudray were killed. Toxicology reports showed Simpson, the driver, had a blood alcohol content of 0.147 percent. Cobb was also intoxicated.
Cobb's mother said she was disappointed with the sentence, calling it too light.
