The Mutt Strutt begins at
9 a.m. on the York County Rail Trail.
Participants should bring pledge sheets to the Mutt Strutt registration table from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. Pledge forms are available online at www.animalrescueinc.org. All Mutt Strutters will receive a free event T-shirt.
The event will include demos from local K-9 units and Summitt Search and Rescue; flyball and disc dog competitions hosted by Appalachian Air Canines.
The event will also feature rescue organizations; costume contest; other contests, including cutest face, best kisser, best wagger and Clean UR Plate; local vendors and food catered by Smokin' Carnes and Bricker's french fries and more.
Have you adopted a dog from ARI? The third annual ARI reunion photo will be taken at 2 p.m.
Don't have a dog? You can "rent" one of the Animal
Rescue dogs for an hour or two.
