PHILADELPHIA—Police in Philadelphia say a second victim has been added to the tally of those shot near the city's Fourth of July celebration.

Investigators say a 16-year-old shooter shot and wounded two other teens Wednesday night near the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The shooter was wounded by an officer after allegedly pointing a gun at police who pursued him on foot.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at 17th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, a couple of blocks from the museum-lined parkway where the city hosts a concert and fireworks for Independence Day.

No further information was available on the identities of those involved. All three were listed in stable condition.
