THE NORTH HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT has released its monthly incident report for September. Officers answered 25 calls for service and issued 52 traffic citations, including 21 for speeding and 13 for operating vehicles without inspection certification.
THE NORTH HOPEWELL-WINTERSTOWN VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY has released an incident report to its member municipalities. As of Oct. 9, firefighters had answered 115 calls in 16 different municipalities, including 45 in North Hopewell Township,
13 in Hopewell Township, 11 in Stewartstown and 10 each in Winterstown and East Hopewell Township. The calls included 38 for fires and 22 for vehicular accidents.
THE STEWARTSTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT has released its September incident report for Winterstown. Officers patrolled
40 hours; responded to 14 service calls; made five criminal arrests/citations; and issued 32 traffic citations/warnings, including 12 for speeding.
THE FELTON VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY has released an incident report for the first three quarters of the year. Firefighters responded to 106 calls in nine different municipalities. The most calls received came from Chanceford Township with 37, followed by Windsor Township, 18; North Hopewell Township, 15; and Felton, 10.
THE RED LION AREA AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION has released its monthly incident report for September. The association answered 135 calls in 11 municipalities, including 38 in Red Lion, 32 in Windsor Township, 25 in Windsor and 12 in York Township.
CHANCEFORD TOWNSHIP'S emergency responders recently released their incident reports for August. New Bridgeville Memorial Fire Company answered 15 calls and Felton responded to
Brogue Area Ambulance did not provide a report to the board of supervisors.
