Feb. 1

9:01 a.m. Liquor law violation was reported in the 300 block of Keagy Avenue where two juveniles were in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Investigation continues.

10:39 a.m. Theft of medication was reported at a residence in the 300 block of Broadway.

2:31 p.m. Brandon Shearer, 18, of Hanover, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 200 block of York Street.

3:17 p.m. A suspicious vehicle parked in the 100 block of McAllister Street checked out OK.

4:58 p.m. Stephanie Crown, 34, of Westminster, Md., was cited for retail theft in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

6:45 p.m. A 17-year-old Hanover male was cited for retail theft in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

11:54 p.m. Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges are pending against a 23-year-old Hanover man following a disturbance in the 300 block of Highland Avenue.

Feb. 2

8:17 a.m. No towing or injury were reported following an accident at Carlisle Street and Maple Avenue where a 2006 Volvo operated by James Kavanaugh of Nederland, Texas, struck a street sign and a utility pole.

12:20 p.m. Theft of two vehicle batteries from a parked vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Poplar Street.

1:53 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 300 block of Poplar Street where a parked vehicle sustained minor damage.

3:13 p.m. A disturbance reported in the 100 block of Carlisle Street involved a verbal dispute between several people.

11:54 p.m. Kathy Schachle, 53, of Hanover was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Forney Avenue.

Feb. 3

2:26 a.m. A driving under the influence charge is pending against a 27-year-old Hanover woman following a traffic stop in the 600 block of High Street.

4:59 a.m. A domestic dispute between a man and woman was reported in the first block of Boundary Avenue.

2:53 p.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported in the first block of Frederick Street where a male reported he was a victim of an assault that occurred several years ago at an unknown location. Investigation will continue.

3:32 p.m. A residential burglary was reported in the 600 block of Broadway where money was taken.

9:47 p.m. A domestic argument between a man and woman was reported in the 400 block of Baltimore Street.

10:53 p.m. A disturbance reported in the 800 block of Blossom Drive involved fireworks and a resident being warned.

10:59 p.m. A harassment charge is pending against a 37-year-old Hanover woman following a domestic altercation in the 400 block of Baltimore Street.

11 p.m. A domestic argument between a man and woman was reported in the first block of Pine Street.

12:28 a.m. A disturbance reported in the first block of West Walnut Street involved a dispute between two men.

9:33 a.m. No injuries or towing resulted from a one-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street.

2 p.m. A car battery was reported stolen in the 500 block of Locust Street.

3:20 p.m. A ring was found in the 600 block of York Street.

3:33 p.m. A female was turned over to a constable on outstanding warrants following a vehicle stop in the 100 block of Black Rock Road.

4:10 p.m. A disturbance caused by fireworks was investigated in the first block of Meadowview Drive and a warning was issued.

6:26 p.m. Assisted Cumberland Township Police in the 300 block of Blooming Grove Road.

7:32 p.m. A suspicous person reported in the 500 block of Frederick Street checked out OK.

8:36 a.m. A 51-year-old male was turned over to the constable following a vehicle stop in the 300 block of Blooming Grove Road.

3:16 p.m. A 20-year-old male faces fleeing from police charges following an incident on Spring Avenue.

10:02 a.m. A 19-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence following a vehicle stop in the 800 block of Baltimore Street.

2:20 p.m. No injuries or towing resulted from a two-vehicle accident at Baltimore Street and Wirt Avenue.

4:51 p.m. A 47-year-old male will be cited following a road rage incident in the 600 block of Boundary Avenue.

11:31 a.m. A 22-year-old Gettysburg man faces driving under the influence charges after he was found slumped over and not alert in his vehicle parked in the middle of Black Horse Tavern and Pumping Station roads.

State Police/Gettysburg

Jan. 30

1:50 a.m. Rachel Raynes, 31, of Gettysburg was arrested for driving under the influence following a one-vehicle accident at 1430 Granite Station Road, Straban Township. Police said a deer ran into the side of the 2001 Hyundai Accent Raynes was driving on Granite Station Road, breaking out a passenger side window. Raynes was not injured but drove to her residence where police arrested her for DUI.

8 a.m. A uniform was reported stolen from the UPS, 980 Old Harrisburg Road, Straban Township.

2:08 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at 1275 York Road, Straban Township, where a 1994 Saab 900 parked in the CVS parking lot was struck by a green KIA SUV which left the area.

10:30 p.m. A residential burglary was reported in the 2500 block of Mummasburg Road, Franklin Township, where a 50-inch television, approximately $9,200 in cash and several pieces of jewelry valued at $8,000 to $9,000 were stolen.

5:22 a.m. No injuries were reported when a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Zendel L. Emory, 53, of Fairfield struck a tree lying across the roadway on Iron Springs Road, Hamiltonban Township.

7 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of East King Street, East Berlin, where a corner of a chain link fence and upper barbed wire were unbolted from a corner post.

8:50 p.m. Adam Covalt, 20, of Glenville was transported to Hanover Hospital and his passenger, Jenna Palmer, 18, of Needmore, Pa., was transported to York Hospital after the 1997 Ford F350 he was driving slid on the ice, traveled off King Street in Abbottstown and struck a tree head-on.

2:04 a.m. A 28-year-old Littlestown man faces driving under the influence charges following a vehicle stop on Route 194, Union Township.
