Unlike the terminally self-aggrandizing Kanye West, too-cool-for school George Clooney didn't have to famously lobby for his upcoming wedding to make the glossy pages of Vogue magazine.

Maybe it helps that Clooney and fiancee Amal Alamuddin have reportedly put Vogue's powerful editor Anna Wintour on the guest list for their nuptials, which will possibly take place in September at Clooney's $25 million villa by Lake Como, reports the New York Post's Page Six.

Oscar de la Renta, a Wintour pal, is also rumored to be designing Alamuddin's dress -- more reason for Wintour to want to give George and Amal's special day the Vogue treatment.

But the question remains: Will Clooney and Alamuddin make the fashion bible's cover, as West and Kim Kardashian finally did for the magazine's top-selling April issue? When that issue came out, Wintour pointedly denied relenting to West's P.R. bombardment.

But Vogue cover or not, we can now turn our speculation to which famous Friends of George will attend the wedding. According to Ranker.com's list of Clooney friends, invitations could go out to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Cindy Crawford, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and even Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
