Marcia Englar, guitarist, will present her Millersville University faculty recital at 2:30 p.m. March 17 at Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 E. Market St., Springettsbury Township, and again at 2:30 p.m. March 24 at Steinman Hall in The Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.

The recital features works for solo guitar; pieces for voice and guitar with fellow faculty member Kristin Sims, a soprano; and pieces for two guitars with recent student and graduate Ryan Nicholls, a guitarist. The York recital will also feature pieces for guitar and organ with Fred Meads, organist at Advent Lutheran Church. Englar graduated from Dallastown Area High School and received bachelor's degrees from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., and a master's degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
