Extraordinary Give: Lancaster County Community Foundation will hold the Extraordinary Give, 24 hour online giving marathon, on Nov. 22. The first 10 organizations to receive a $25 gift will receive $1,000. Golden ticket prizes will be awarded throughout the day. 

Fall Concert: The Lyric Band of Hanover will present their annual free Fall Concert 3 p.m. Nov. 24 in the Hanover High School auditorium, 400 Moul Ave., Hanover. Princess St., York. This free event is in recognition of International Suicide Survivor Week sponsored by the York County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Amateur Photographers Program: Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve will hold a program guiding amateur photographers into acquiring once-in-a-lifetime pictures of Comet ISON from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Comet ISON is expected to occur around Thanksgiving Day.


The cost is $5 for members, and $8 for non-members.

Home Dedication Ceremony: The community is invited to celebrate at the Home Dedication Ceremony of York Habitat's 109th and 110th homes Nov. 24, as the Cordero and Warfel families become homeowners. The Dedication Ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market St., York, and will be followed by an Open House at 403 & 405 S. Albemarle St. During the Open House, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, tour the homes, and speak with the new homeowners.
