Car show: The York County School of Technology student chapter of the American Welding Society will hold its annual car show 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 5 at the school, 2179 S. Queen St., York Township. Annual Corvette fun show: The York County Corvette Club and Thornton Chevrolet will host their annual Corvette fun show May 4 at Manchester Motors, 160 Glen Drive, East Manchester Township. Registration is 9 to 11 a.m. Drivers' meeting is at 11:15 a.m. and awards are presented at 1 p.m. Registration is $15 in advance and $20 at the show. Proceeds benefit various charities. The show features a basket silent auction, dash plaques for the first 50 cars, door prizes, goodie bags for the first 35 cars, raffles and Papa John's pizza at $2 per slice. York County Corvette Club: meets the first Friday of every month for an ice cream run to a mystery destination arranged by the program chairman.

Each Monday at 7 p.m.: Sam Auxier Jr. will host the biggest Legends in Drag Racing at dragracersreunion.ning.com.

Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program: offers free motorcycle safety classes. Class schedules are available online at pamsp.com. Students who successfully complete the knowledge and skills test will receive a motorcycle license from the state Department of Transportation. A motorcycle permit from PennDOT is required to register for a class. Motorcycles and helmets are provided for the Basic Rider Course.
