Change orders approved >> West York Area School District's board of directors voted in favor of allowing the district's business manager to approve change orders costing less than $10,000; and to approve that Supt. Emilie Lonardi is allowed to approve change orders costing between $10,000 and $20,000. Anything greater than $20,000 would go before the board.
According to the district, "the foregoing authorizations are subject to the change orders not increasing the time allowed for performance of the contractor's work." Change orders alter the original scope of work, and are common during construction projects.
