Air Force Airman 1st Class Patrick J. Kluyber

Air Force Airman 1st Class Patrick J. Kluyber: graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2013 graduate of Red Lion High School and is currently stationed at Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss., attending Radio Frequency Transmission Systems School. He is the son of Jeff Kluyber and Lexie Heitzman of the Red Lion/York area.

Army Spc. Trent Bartz: of Hellam Township was promoted from private first class to specialist April 6. He was awarded an achievement certificate and a battalion coin for his participation in a "Best Warrior" competition at Fort Jackson, S.C., in March. He is a signal support systems specialist assigned to Headquarters 203rd Military Intelligence Battalion in Aberdeen, Md. A 2013 graduate of Eastern York High School, Bartz is enrolled at Valley Forge Military College, Valley Forge, Chester County, for the 2014 fall semester.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyle Holtzman: an equipment operator and 2009 York County School of Technology graduate from the York area, is serving in the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, also known as the "Seabees," specializing in advance base construction, battle damage repair, contingency engineering, humanitarian assistance and disaster recovery support to fleet and unified commanders.
