The annual event is 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Nov. 17 and 18 at the museum on the banks of the Susquehanna River, just a short distance off Route 425 east of Airville.

The museum is all decked out for the holidays, with trimmed Christmas trees, a roaring fire and a naturally decorated Kiva. Ornaments and gifts will be sold, along with homemade candy, cakes, cookies and pies.

The highlight is a visit by Santa, his helpers, and Rudolph, the Two-Nosed Reindeer, from 2 to 4 p.m. all four days.

Christmas at Indian Steps provides a wonderful family experience that won't hurt your pocketbook because admission is free. Donations are welcomed, though, and much appreciated because they fund the many terrific activities held at the museum.
