Set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the event features more than 25 crafters as well as direct-sell vendors such as Mary Kay Cosmetics, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and 31 Bags and Gifts. The Green Thumb Garden Club also will be there.

An open house and holiday sale continues at Second Wind Pottery 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.

Saubel's Markets, 65 E. Forrest Ave., Shrewsbury, is collecting donated turkeys for the Southern York County Pantry.
All donated turkeys will be used by the pantry to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to residents of southcentral York County. While some grocery stores collect for other food banks, the Saubel's collection for the Southern York County Pantry means items collected will benefit folks in the boroughs of New Freedom, Shrewsbury, Glen Rock, Railroad, Stewartstown, Jacobus and Jefferson, as well as the townships surrounding those
The SYC Pantry provides people in need with a delivery of food. Pantry volunteers deliver a basic supply of boxed, canned and frozen groceries to the residents' doors. There is no walk-in service.
If you live in southcentral York County and need a little help, or know someone who does, call 717-235-6370. You will be greeted with an answering machine message asking a few simple questions. Someone will return your call within 48 hours to arrange a delivery time.
Words of praise go out to Sharon Emenheiser, a Realtor with Prudential Bob Yost, and other local business owners who are serving a free Thanksgiving dinner 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, at the Red Lion Ambulance Club at the corner of Country Club Road and Horace Mann Avenue.
Emenheiser said she organized the event to bring the community together in the spirit of thankfulness.
