YORK TWP.- York Township Recreation will offer sponge ball for children 5 to 7 years old from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays, Feb. 23 to March 23 in the gym at Ore Valley Elementary School.

This program introduces children to the fundamentals of softball. The children will learn how to throw a softie softball, hit from a T, catch a ball and run bases.

Cost is $45 for residents, $50 for non-residents. Minimum number of class members is 10, maximum is 20.
