· The third annual Land, Speed and Air Day will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 9 at Fairfield Glider Port, Mid Atlantic Soaring Club, 154 Pecher Road, Fairfield. The show is open to all cars, street rods, antiques and motorcycles. Antique airplanes and gliders will be on site; and glider rides will be available. Proceeds benefit Save Our Liberty. · The Land Conservancy of Adams County's Road Rally 2009 will be Oct. 17. Rally contestants vie for the Conservancy Cup adorned with fuzzy dice while they visit the hidden treasures of Adams County.
