More than 4,000 street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks and specialty vehicles from across the country are coming to York for the 39th annual National Street Rod Association National East event June 1 through 3 at the York Expo Center.

Street Rods were made prior to 1950.

Cars will be on display for public viewing throughout the day and will participate in a variety of driving and non-driving events.

During the event, the Central Pennsylvania Model Car Club will host a model car contest, which is open to the public. The model cars will be on display throughout the weekend.

The events also includes a trade show, where more than 160 manufacturers and dealers will be displaying and selling parts, accessories and supplies. Seminars on a variety of topics will take place throughout the weekend.

A "Women's World" section will feature arts and crafts and the "Vintage Swap Meet" event continues this year, featuring used and/or original automotive parts for sale.

The show's hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available on-site and are $14 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under 5 are free. Discounts are available for senior citizens, military personnel, United Parcel Service employees and NRSA members, with proper identification.
