EASTERN YORK- Daulton Derr, an Eastern York High School graduate, is having a big season for the Delaware Valley men's basketball team which 15-7 overall, 9-2 in Freedom Conference play and has won seven straight games.

The 6-foot-4 senior forward is second on the team in scoring (13.7) and is averaging 4.0 rebounds with 20 assists, 17 steals and 10 blocked shots. He scored 17 points against Eastern and DeSales during the winner streak.

"Daulton is a team captain and having a real solid year," Coach Casey Stitzel said. "He has gotten better every day and has a great attitude and plays hard all of the time. He is one of the most coachable players I have in my program."

The Aggies have already clinched a Freedom playoff berth.
