YORK TWP.— A nature conference will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hol lywood Drive, York Town ship.

Getting children outside is just the first step. Supportive adults can help children develop well-functioning ob servation skills, visual memory and the ability to learn math, science and liter acy concepts from their inter actions with nature.

These workshops provide resources and inspiration to help adults more effectively reach all learners while re- connecting children with the creative wonders of nature.

Vendors representing va rious educational agencies, suppliers and nature consul tants will be present to answer questions and pro vide further information on the importance of nature in learning and play.

Cost is $45 and includes Pa. Keys to Professional Development PQAS/DPW credits, lunch and session materials.
