A Hanover man whose pit bulls attacked an 8-year-old boy in June 2010 was fined $1,000 Wednesday.

Chester L. Little, 49, was convicted in York County court last month of harboring a dangerous dog. He pleaded guilty to failure to vaccinate his two dogs and failure to license them. All five counts are summary offenses.

Ajia Brown, now 10, was attacked by the dogs when he visited a residence adjacent to Little's fenced yard. According to court statements, Ajia has undergone numerous surgeries to repair damage to his ears and scalp, which were bitten and torn by the dogs.
