York, PA -
The Route 214 bridge over the south branch of the Codorus Creek in Seven Valleys is closed for repairs.
PennDOT is going to remove the structurally deficient 86-year-old bridge, build a new concrete box beam bridge and make other improvements to the road there, according to a news release.
PennDOT says it will take until Nov. 20 before the new bridge is ready for traffic.
It has put in place a detour that takes drivers on Route 616, Route 216, Yellow Church Road and Main Street.
