I read the letters to the editor each day and especially the column on "Roses and Thorns." I cannot recall any letters or thorns for York City when they charged the school district $900 for parade permit for their homecoming. It seems to me that this is obviously retribution to the school not having city police for security at their games. A very childish action by the leaders of York.
