A York City woman who answered a knock on her door ended up being shoved to the ground, tied up and robbed at gunpoint, police said.
York City Police said Wanda D. Harris, 36, of the 200 block of Park Place, was expecting company, so she didn't bother looking through her peep-hole when she answered her door about 1 a.m. Thursday.
When she did, two people in dark clothing -- both wielding handguns -- shoved her to the floor and tied her up, police said.
They ransacked Harris' home and took cash before fleeing, police said.
Harris was able to free herself and call police.
Except for a scratch to her ring finger, Harris escaped injury, police said.
Her children were upstairs sleeping at the time, according to police.
