Robert Bonner, 39, of Dillsburg, faces arraignment March 27 in Adams County court on charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.
Bonner, a chemistry teacher at Bermudian Springs High School since 2006 and also the school's varsity baseball coach, resigned his teaching job in late August and was charged by police on Jan. 17.
In the incident for which he's charged, Bonner allegedly called the teen out of her psychology final and gave her a hand-written note asking if she was interested in having sex with him and his wife, court documents state.
Bermudian Springs School District Superintendent Shane Hotchkiss told police that he spoke with Bonner , who admitted to asking the victim to have the threesome, according to the documents.
The teen told police that this incident marked the second time Bonner asked her to have sex with him, court documents state.
Investigating officer Curtis Whitmoyer said at the time charges were filed that "other things outside of the school building" occurred between Bonner and the student during 2010-11 year. There are no specifics on these other alleged events, he said.
