The PVH Kids Club will meet at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 at Patton Veterinary Hospital, 425 E. Broadway, Red Lion. The goal of the club is to teach children to be responsible pet parents. Kids from all over the county are welcome.

At this month's meeting, they'll get a behind-the scenes look at the veterinary hospital. They'll see the surgery room and learn how dogs and cats get their teeth cleaned and whether pets get the same medications as humans. They'll also find out what a dog's heart sounds like.
