Biglerville's boys' soccer team will oppose Lancaster Country Day in the District 3 Class A Tournament for the first time since 2001 when the teams meet Wednesday.

District 3 Soccer Chairman Alfred Isopi announced the Canners (16-5) will oppose Lancaster Country Day in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. at Hershey High School.

The winner will clinch a berth in the PIAA Class A Tournament and will play for the district title against either Camp Hill or York Catholic at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hersheypark Stadium.

The Canners face Lancaster Country Day for the first time since a 2-0 shutout win in the second round of district play in 2001. This year's Canners are led by Alex Lua, who has 27 goals and nine assists.
