Here's a look back at some of the memorable moments from the 2010 YAIAA softball season:
Dani Aikens, York County Tech: How many times did Aikens strike out in the 2010 season? Just once. She hit for a .372 average.
Leah Beach, Dallastown: She saved some of her best games for Red Lion, a team Beach had six hits against in two games. Not only did the Wildcat hit .432, but she also had a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Becca Bowman, Delone Catholic: Bowman had a three-RBI game in a win against York Catholic. She also doubled and homered in a loss to Hanover.
Alexys Bryan, Susquehannock: The senior catcher had a three-RBI performance against Northeastern, plus a two-hit, two-RBI game against Dover.
Paige Dennison, Bermudian Springs: She saved some of her best for West York. In the first meeting between the teams, she had three hits in the Eagles' eight-inning win. Her two-run homer in the ninth inning in the second game won the division crown for Bermudian.
Terra Diehl, Hanover: She was 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a win against Fairfield. Diehl pitched Hanover into the division runner-up spot with showings like a complete-game three-hitter against York Catholic.
Autumn Ensor, Bermudian Springs: Her defense was spectacular in a 5-0 shutout of York Tech to put the Eagles in the YAIAA championship game.
Connie Fike, Susquehannock: After missing her junior season, Fike was back as a senior. And, the pitcher did more than just pitch. Take the Warriors' 2-1 win against Kennard-Dale, for example. Fike's two-run double in the sixth inning supported her 10-strikeout performance in the win.
Erika Heck, Spring Grove: The then-sophomore struck out 15 batters as Spring Grove clinched the Division II softball title with a 2-0 win against Susquehannock.
Bradi Hill, Hanover: Only a freshman last season, she hit a three-run homer in a win against Eastern York and crushed a homer and two triples in a victory against York Catholic.
Kirstin Hughes, Northeastern: The Bobcats' comeback against Dover became a reality when Hughes hit a two-run triple.
Desi Joines, Kennard-Dale: She had a three-hit day in a setback to Northeastern, and she fanned 16 Dover batters in a win.
Elizabeth Mack, New Oxford: Mack was 12-1 with 139 strikeouts as a sophomore. Her ERA was only 0.72 ERA. Her play helped the Colonials improve from 19-3 to 12-10. She was even a force in the district playoffs, no-hitting Waynesboro in the first round. She also had a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in the YAIAA title game to lead victorious Colonials against Bermudian Springs.
Katrina McLane, York County Tech: The Spartans won the YAIAA Division IV championship as she pitched them to a 9-3 win against Fairfield. Tech's win came despite having only two hits -- a double by Selena Roberson and a hit from Dani Aikens.
Abby Payne, Kennard-Dale: The catcher had plenty to celebrate as her Rams rallied from a 9-4 deficit to beat Spring Grove, 10-9, in 10 innings.
Jovonne Peterson, York Suburban: The then-senior led the Trojans to a win against Biglerville in which she had three hits, two stolen bases and three runs scored.
Alexis Shoemaker, Dover: The then-sophomore had three hits and an RBI in a defeat to Northeastern. She also scored two runs in a setback to York Suburban.
Tessa Shumaker, Dover: The then-junior had three hits and three RBIs, including a two-run double, against Northeastern. She also had a 4-for-4 day in a loss to Kennard-Dale.
Carissa Throckmorton, South Western: Her junior season saw her throw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts against West York in late April.
Cassie Wagman, Spring Grove: In Spring Grove's 2-1 District 3 first-round win against Conestoga Valley, Wagman scored both runs. First, the tying run came on a hit by Jenna Wivell. Later, the game-winner came on another Wivell hit, this time to left field in the fifth.
Lauren Walker, Central York: The pitcher earned Gatorade Pennsylvania Softball Player of the Year honors after posting a 12-7 record with a 0.52 ERA. She allowed only nine earned runs in 122 innings and had 267 strikeouts.
Jenna Wivell, Spring Grove: Her two RBIs gave the Rockets a 2-1 District 3 Class AAAA first-round win in late May. She also had the game-winning hit in their Division II-clinching win against Spring Grove.
