Law for blighted properties in Winterstown

WINTERSTOWN-- A new law gives Winterstown more flexibility to deal with blighted properties.

The council recently adopted Act 90 of 2010, a state initiative that allows municipalities to deal with dilapidated and dangerous properties without adopting a maintenance code.

The law applies only to the worst properties or offenders, solicitor William Poole Jr. said.
