EASTERN YORK— Senior Daul ton Derr (Eastern York) saw his season and career come to an end when his Delaware Valley men’s basketball team was beaten 76-61 in the first round of the NCAA Divi sion III Tournament.

The 6-foot-4 forward had 10 points and three rebounds in that game.

He finished the season second on the team in scoring (13.5) and av eraged 4.7 rebounds.

He also had 26 assists, 22 steals and 14 blocked shots. He was a standout from 3-point range, hitting 40 of 110 (.364).

The Aggies finished 19-9 and earned the NCAA berth by beating DeSales 77-72 in the Freedom Con ference title game.

Derr had 19 points and 15 re bounds in a 65-49 semifinal victory over Misericordia.
