SOUTH EASTERN -- South Eastern School District has released its enrollment figures for February.

In a report to the state, the district noted an enrollment of 2,883 students, or 51 fewer students than the 2,934 enrolled a year ago. However, South Eastern also provided classroom space for 48 LIU students, giving it a total student population of 2,931.

The district also recorded data for students who reside in South Eastern but attend classes elsewhere: 222, private school; 32, out-of-district placement; 9, homebound; 115, charter school; 98, home school; and 81, York County School of Technology.
