A Glen Rock man was arrested this week after he robbed a Maryland man during a drug deal, according to Southern Regional Police.
Shawn Joseph Krause, 28, of Church Street met with a Maryland man, on Friday so the two could exchange cash for prescription narcotics, according to a news release.
Krause pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from the man, who gave Krause $1,300 before running from the scene, police said.
Southern Regional Police obtained a search warrant on Krause's home and found two handguns, cash and drug paraphernalia.
Krause was charged with robbery, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, disorderly conduct, firearms not to be carried without a license and persons not to possess a firearm.
Krause was in York County Prison Wednesday in lieu of $40,000 bail.
Sgt. Darryl Smuck with Southern Regional Police said the Maryland man is not facing any charges at this time.
Stewartstown Police and the York County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.
