NORTHERN MD.- Hereford won the Class 3A North Region field hockey playoffs on Nov. 2 with a 2-1 triumph over C. Milton Wright.

Junior Layne Litsinger scored twice for the 16-0 Bulls, who earned their first appearance in field hockey's Final Four since 1999.

Mary Claire and Caitlin Abbott each had assists.
