KENNARD-DALE- Gary Lantz, a Kennard-Dale graduate, is on a roll with in his return to the Pitt-Johnstown wrestling team.

Competing at 174 pounds, Lantz has two pins and a medical decision in his last three matches. The latter victory came in a 34-6 victory over East Stroudsburg.

"Gary is a 'gamer' because he comes through when it matters the most," Coach Pat Pecora said. "He has overcome an early-season shoulder injury to help lead the team to victory in its final three matches of the first half."

In his first match after returning to the mat he scored a pin in 2:36 in a 47-0 victory over Ohio Valley.

"That pin was huge," Pecora said. "Gary is a great team leader."

The Mountain Cats are ranked 11th in Division II and will return to action Dec. 28 at the Wilkes Open in Wilkes-Barre.
