· In Hanover, Sara Tarbert led the visiting Kennard-Dale girls' basketball team to a 47-29 victory by scoring 23 points on 11 baskets and 1-of-2 shooting from the foul line Dec. 11.

Soukaina Tracy scored 13 for the Nighthawks, but after falling behind 32-16 in the first half they were unable to climb back into the game.

Kaitlyn Trott and Nicole Black combined for 15 points in the winning effort for Kennard-Dale.

· Susquehannock earned a 52-35 victory against South Western in YAIAA girls' basketball action on Dec. 11.

Alexis Murphy scored 16 and Katie Wagner netted 15 more as the Warriors trounced the Mustangs at home.

Murphy's 16 points included three 3-pointers.

Susquehannock successfully converted 11-of-16 free throws in the win.

South Western saw a strong outing from Amy Spigelmyer, who scored 13 points.

· Susquehannock earned a 51-39 triumph against Hanover in varsity boys' basketball action Dec. 11.

Susquehannock had three players score in double-figures and used a 26-15 halftime edge to beat the host Nighthawks.

Tim Fry led the Warriors with 16 points, while Tyler Brooks and Dan Ferraro added 13 and 10, respectively.

The Nighthawks were paced by 15 points from Dylan Krieger.

Austin Brown added 11 markers for Hanover.
