She had a solid first-year with the women's cross country team, competing in the NCAA Division III Regionals.
Thus far, she's competed in the mile in two races for the Mariners - finishing 19th in a time of 6:46.51 at the Crowell Invitational at West Point and then dropping her time with a sixth-place finish (6:31.7) at a Coast Guard Tri-Meet in New London, Conn.
"Emily has been working hard but hasn't performed all that well as of yet," Coach Greg Lott said. "We are still playing around with what events fit her best. I don't think that she will be in a position to score for us this indoor season. We are just hoping that she keeps up her effort and develops into someone that will score for us down the road."
