Penn State York did not have the expected result when it traveled to Burlington, Vt., for the USCAA men's soccer tournament. The local Lions dropped a 1-0 decision to Concordia College.

After York controlled play for much of the first half, things changed after the intermission, and the team that the Lions knocked off a year ago in the USCAA tourney gained the momentum.

"I knew last year we were fortunate to beat them," York coach Rich Chilcoat said. "There was a period we played that style with that type of passion. Going into halftime, we had them on their heels.

"I thought it was just a matter of time till we put one in the back of the net. We came out of halftime break and were just flat as a board. We played so scared, and it was a shame."

Hyron Browne-Baptiste tapped in the game's only goal in the 60th minute after a nice cross from teammate Kenjay Simmonds.

Penn State York plays a consolation bracket game at noon today.
