Tucker finished the game by pitching a scoreless ninth.

The former major leaguer lasted 11/3 innings, allowing six earned runs. He struck out two, walked three and allowed five hits.
Bridgeport (6-5) scored six runs in the second, when six straight batters reached base safely against Thurman. York (5-6) pulled Thurman after he surrendered the big hit of the game, a bases-loaded
Four York relievers combined to pitch the final 62/3 innings, allowing one run on five hits. And Nick McCurdy struck out seven in 32/3
innings.
