KUTZTOWN, Pa.—Police in eastern Pennsylvania say a 1-year-old boy has died while playing with farm equipment.

WCAU-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/J3hC3Q) that officers were called to the Burkholder Farm Market in Berks County at around 4 p.m. Sunday.

The coroner's office tells the station that John Edward Burkholder died from asphyxiation and that his death was an accident.

The Berks-Lehigh Regional Police haven't yet said what kind of farm equipment the boy was playing with. The accident is under investigation.
