An attempted robbery was stopped in York Thursday afternoon when someone inside Young's Food Store decided to wrestle the suspect for his gun, according to York City Police.
Police said a black man came into the store in the 300 block of East King Street at 4:27 p.m. with a gun and demanded money.

During that time, the man was wrestled to the ground and the victim was able to take the gun from the man, the release states.
The man then began to run, while another victim grabbed the man and was dragged for a short time.
A second black man outside the store also ran and they were both seen going north on Pine Street, police said.
