The York City Bureau of Health announced open clinic times for free influenza vaccines for York residents, according to a news release.

Walk-in clinics will be available at the Albert S. Weyer Health Center, 435 W. Philadelphia St. 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday.

The York City Bureau of Health recommends that all people 6 months old or older should get the flu vaccine, and especially those that are at high risk for complications from the flu, such as pregnant women, nursing home residents and long-term care facilities, people 65 or older and people with medical conditions, such as heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, diabetes and morbid obesity.
